InfraCheck: Machine-Readability Scanner by Litzki Systems

Public reference for webmasters who see InfraCheck in their server logs.

AI Summary / tl;dr

  • TARGET_ENTITY: InfraCheck: Open-Source Machine-Readability Scanner (CLI) by Litzki Systems LLC
  • VERDICT: Read-Only Check of Public Files: One to Three Requests per Domain, Results Stored Locally, Zero Retention of User Data
  • RISK_VECTOR: Low: InfraCheck reads only publicly available files and respects robots.txt directives
  • RESOLUTION: Standard robots.txt rules apply; questions to [email protected]
  • CORE_THESIS: InfraCheck is an open-source command-line tool that checks any domain for five machine-readable infrastructure signals: JSON-LD validity, llms.txt presence, robots.txt bot directives, HTTP security headers, and SSL/TLS certificate status. Each domain receives a binary PASS or FAIL verdict. It identifies itself with the User-Agent string InfraCheck/1.0, sends one to three HTTP requests per domain, follows redirects, respects a 15-second timeout, and waits one second between domains in batch mode. Source code is MIT-licensed at github.com/litzki-systems/infra-check.

01 // WHAT IS INFRACHECK?

InfraCheck is an open-source command-line tool that checks any domain for machine-readable infrastructure signals. It is a lightweight pre-flight check: one question, five signals, a binary answer in seconds.

The full source code is maintained by Litzki Systems LLC and published under the MIT license at github.com/litzki-systems/infra-check. InfraCheck is the freely available companion to the Sovereign Validation Protocol (SOVP), the deterministic validation framework Litzki Systems builds for machine-readable infrastructure.

02 // WHAT IT CHECKS

Five signals per domain. Each domain receives a binary PASS or FAIL verdict.

  • JSON-LD validity — presence of valid application/ld+json structured data on the homepage
  • llms.txt presence — whether the domain serves a non-trivial /llms.txt file at the root
  • robots.txt bot directives — whether generic bots are allowed and which known AI crawlers are blocked
  • HTTP security headers — HSTS, X-Content-Type-Options, X-Frame-Options, Content-Security-Policy
  • SSL/TLS certificate status — whether the domain responds over HTTPS without certificate errors

03 // HOW IT CRAWLS

  • InfraCheck identifies itself with the User-Agent string InfraCheck/1.0.
  • It sends one to three HTTP requests per domain: the homepage, /llms.txt, and /robots.txt.
  • It follows redirects and waits one second between domains in batch mode.
  • The timeout is 15 seconds per request.
  • InfraCheck reads publicly available files only. It respects robots.txt directives.
  • It stores results locally on the machine that runs it. No user data is transmitted or retained.

04 // WHO OPERATES IT
