This website runs without a framework or WordPress as a static site on Cloudflare. Before every release it checks itself for canonicals, hreflang, sitemap and HTML structure, and every response carries security headers you can verify yourself. That is how I build and run your website too.

How much does it cost to have a website built?
A static website in German and English with automated checks starts at €4,800. You get the fixed price after the initial call. All prices net. All prices →
What are the running costs?
Hosting a static website costs little: from around 5 US dollars a month at Cloudflare, usually a bit more with a provider running servers in the EU. The domain and all accounts, such as Google Analytics or Search Console, are in your name. For care and maintenance I recommend an optional monthly package: small changes and quick fixes are then done without separate arrangements. Why without WordPress?
A static website has no database and no plugins that constantly need updates. That means less attack surface and short load times. I know WordPress well, I have written about it for Raidboxes among others, and I still build it on request. I recommend it when several people edit content themselves on a regular basis. On my static sites I make the changes, most easily through the monthly package.
Will AI search tools read my new website?
Yes, I plan for that from the start: content in the HTML without JavaScript, structured data on every page and an llms.txt. How ChatGPT and other AI search tools read your site is described under generative engine optimization.
